I'm Heather Bitner
and I have been sewing and quilting for over 30 years from Wyoming
to Pennsylvania. Over the years I have made quilts from the "Country Classic"
to extremely
modern and even psychedelic designs.
Back in 2006 I started
seeing quilted handbags become all the rage but they all had one
thing in common . . . The lack of sturdiness and very little creativity.
That's when I began
designing my own line of one-of-a kind (no duplication) quilted handbags,
purses, wristlets, messenger
bags and notebook bags.
My designs utilize
numerous strips of different fabric to create the sides and my unique
eye
for color separate them from the rest. My work has been featured in
various newspaper articles
and you can read them by
clicking here or using the navigation along the left column of my
website. In addition, I have been featured at juried art festivals. A
"juried" event means
that
I must present my work to a panel and go through a
selection process to
meet or
exceed their standards. This has afforded me the opportunity
to
build a loyal following
of customers
that keep calling me for more.
Why? It's simple.
My
creations are one-of-a-kind and cannot be duplicated.
The quality of my
fabric and
workmanship is second-to-none and far surpasses any factory
made quilted handbag, purse, wristlet, tote bag, messenger bag or
notebook bag you see at countless retail locations.
Plus they are all machine washable lasting for years and years.
So cruise around my site, drop
me an email or visit me at an upcoming art festival. I'd love to
hear from you.
